Rufas Repels Insect Repellent Balm

Gone are the days of spraying toxic fumes all over yourself so to protect against  bites from disease carrying inspects.

Rufas Repels is our all natural insect repellent balm made with beautifully moisturising butters, waxes and essential oils.

Completely free of DEET and other harmful artificial chemicals the active ingredient which we incorporate in our formula is Citriodiol, otherwise known as Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil.  Citriodiol is made  from Australian Lemon Eucalyptus leaves and is proven to compete favourably with DEET.  Field trials have shown Citriodiol is an affective protection against mosquitoes, black flies, sand flies, midges and stable flies for up to 6hrs and ticks and leeches for up to 4hrs. 

Not only will you keep bitey bugs at bay safely but you will also be hydrating and caring for your skin.  This product is effective even for those who usually find themselves a mosquito-magnet, in fact the very reason we made this is because one of our founds is exactly that!

Our carefully selected blend of essential oils has a clean, fresh, revitalising scent that is refreshing to wear.

We dont use any artificial thickeners or hardeners in our balms, so when the weather warms up you will notice the balm becomes softer.  You may wish to refrigerate on hot days but that is not necessary.  All our ingredients are natural, vegan and palm oil free.

When applying to face avoid delicate eye area and do not apply over broken skin or rashes.  Although all our products are made entirely from natural ingredients this does not mean they are right for everyone, so if you have an adverse reaction please cease using immediately.
